Peter Brook Art Prize 2017
4th February - 18th April
This stunning art exhibition comes from Calderdale High School’s young artists, in which they present their own paintings, drawings, prints and photographs in the competition. Peter Brook’s paintings will also be on display during the exhibition.
ELO Experience, Halifax
3rd March 2017, 7.30pm
A fantastic tribute to the Electric Light Orchestra celebrates the 40th Anniversary of the ‘Out of the Blue’ album in the main auditorium at the Victoria Theatre. Let the band take you on a musical journey with a stunning light show experience.
Huddersfield Literature Festival
4th March - 19th March 2017
With many famous faces to look out for, this year’s Huddersfield Literature Festival is proud to present crime writer Ian Rankin, Dame Jenni Murray, Countdown word expert Susie Dent, Booker Prize-shortlisted author Michele Roberts and best-selling crime author Sophie Hannah, to name a few.

Magic Rock Easter Festival

Located in Birkby, Huddersfield, Magic Rock is a popular place for beer lovers, as the craft brewery gears up to hold an Easter Sunday food and drink festival with five of the their favourite street food stalls. They are also holding a Vegan Street Food Festival on 3rd June 2017.
